The Browns have hit an improbable streak at the end of the 2023 season following the injury to starting quarterback Deshaun Watson. They won four of their final five games to finish the season with an 11-6 record and a spot in the AFC playoffs. That run ended abruptly, however, with a 45-14 road loss to the Houston Texans in the AFC Wild Card round. Watson is back under center, trying to get back on track to be the star that prompted the Browns to sign him as a free agent to a monster deal in the first place. The Browns defense is back as a ferocious force after leading the NFL in total defense (270.2 yards per game) and pass defense (164.7).

The Seahawks have the same look and feel as the group that went 9-8 last season and was denied a chance in the NFC playoffs. Head coach Pete Carroll was fired after 14 seasons on the Seattle sidelines, and new coach Mike MacDonald inherited a group with excellent weapons like DK Metcalf and Tyler Lockett in the passing game, as well as a physical running attack led by Kenneth Walker III and Zach Charbonnet.
