Cannonier vs. Borralho updates, all fight results

UFC on ESPN 62 takes place on Saturday, and you can tune in live for round-by-round coverage and official results starting at 7 p.m. ET (4 p.m. PT). UFC on ESPN 62 (ESPN/ESPN+) takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas.

Former middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonier (17-7 MMA, 10-7 UFC) will face Caio Borralho (16-1 MMA, 6-0 UFC) in the main event. In the co-feature, Angela Hill (17-13 MMA, 12-13 UFC) will face Tabatha Ricci (10-2 MMA, 5-2 UFC) in a women's strawweight bout. There are also two finals of the 32nd season of “The Ultimate Fighter”.

Dennis Buzukja vs Francis Marshall

Round 1 – They touch gloves and go for it. Buzukja kicks as Marshall charges in to take him down. Marshall takes Buzukja from back control to one knee against the fence. Marshall maintains control from that position as time runs out. Two minutes left. Marshall adds a few punches to the head as Buzukja continues to calmly look for a way to break free. With one minute to go, they break up. Buzukja kicks to the body. Marshall with a left before blitzing into the clinch with more punches. Marshall catches Buzukja with a punch while offering a kick.

Jose Medina vs. Zach Reese

Round 1 – They touch and Medina fires off a quick left. Reese charges forward with punches, sending Medina against the fence for an early big moment. Medina escapes. Reese closes in and gets a takedown. Heavy ground and pound from Reese now, cutting Medina. Reese adjusts and keeps throwing punches. Medina gets back to his feet as Reese strikes. Reese lifts Medina up and throws him off, but he's quickly back on his feet and able to break free. Reese lands another clean punch. Huge kick to the body from Reese and Medina retreats. Reese attacks, but Medina somehow manages to take him down. Reese applies a choke, turning Medina over and taking top position. Reese gets to his feet and Medina takes his time getting back up. Reese is back on the hunt with punches, but misses with a jumping knee at the horn.

Round 2 – Reese comes out with a quick left. A hard kick to the body has Medina smiling and backing away. A moment later, he lands another. Reese is now landing punches, including a fierce uppercut. Medina starts to taunt, wagging his finger after Reese lands. Medina lands a leg kick, but Reese responds with more power. Another kick to the body from Reese. A solid right at the end of a combination. Reese adds a question mark kick to the mix. A spinning back kick misses and Medina lands a counter. A moment later, Medina charges forward with a nice combination. Medina taunts again before closing in and landing a solid right into the clinch.

Round 3 – Medina wants a hug before moving on and Reese obliges. They start again and Reese tries a takedown but is fended off. They trade blows and now Reese goes for a double leg. Medina gets up but only for a moment as Reese takes him down again. Back on his feet. Medina lands a nice punch on Reese. Medina provokes again as Reese repositions. Another big takedown from Reese in the middle. Reese focuses on control as Medina lands a few short punches from below. After targeting the neck, Reese adds a few punches. One minute left. Reese grabs the back as Medina struggles to get up to a standing position. Reese throws him down. Medina is back on his feet and swinging to the horn.

Viacheslav Borshchev vs. James Llontop

Round 1 – Borshchev opens the action with two leg kicks. They collide shins and kick at the same time. They clinch briefly, but both narrowly miss with short punches. Llontop throws a hard left to the body. Borshchev swings his left. Llontop kicks to the body. Borshchev lands a jab to the midsection. Borshchev lands a powerful right at the end of a combination. A head kick follows, but is partially blocked. Llontop digs out with a solid leg kick. Two more follow, both very solid. Borshchev kicks to the body. Llontop responds with a kick to the legs. Borshchev strikes with a short left uppercut. Borshchev is poked in the eye, but the referee doesn't stop the fight immediately and Llontop storms in with punches. Finally the referee intervenes. The cage doctor comes in to examine and gives the go-ahead for the fight to continue. There is little time left and they exchange blows before the horn sounds.

Round 2 – Llontop comes out firing but gets tripped. Borshchev tries to capitalize but Llontop is quick to gather himself and restart. Borshchev lands a solid right. Llontop lands a leg kick and then punches to the body. Borshchev lands a leg kick. Llontop responds with one of his own. Borshchev follows with a nice knee to the body. A moment later, Borshchev punches hard to the body. Llontop lands a right in the exchange. More punches to the body from Borshchev. With 30 seconds left, Borshchev tries a wild spinning kick, throwing himself off balance. Llontop lands a solid left and a knee.

Round 3 – Borshchev fires a high kick that is partially blocked. Llontop fights back but Borshchev counters well with a left hand. Nice body-head combination from Borshchev. Llontop knees in and Borshchev lands a counter. Llontop lands a solid 1-2 as Borshchev loses his balance. Borshchev kicks to the body. A spinning backfist from Borshchev misses. The action heats up as both land with punches and kicks. A head kick from Borshchev lands. Llontop answers with punches. Three punches from Llontop now. Borshchev fires but is easily shaken off. Llontop continues to press forward with punches. Another wild kick attempt from Borshchev before the horn.

Jacqueline Cavalcanti vs Josiane Nunes

Round 1 – Cavalcanti offers some early jabs. Nunes catches a kick and fires a hard counter punch. Cavalcanti circles and continues to work behind the left jab. Nunes fires an inside leg kick but Cavalcanti counters with a kick to the body and a quick punch. Cavalcanti continues to paw lefts, keeps her distance and fires Nunes with a sharp 1-2. Nunes begins to answer with punches as she charges forward. Nunes is now landing well as she pushes Cavalcanti back. Nunes continues to strike with big hooks. Cavalcanti circles back to the middle to slow things down. Cavalcanti sneaks in with a sharp right hand. Nunes charges forward with punches before the horn.

Round 2 – Cavalcanti starts with leg kicks and Nunes charges forward with punches. Cavalcanti looks for an opening behind the pawing left as it circles. Nunes lands an overhand left. Another solid punch from Nunes gets through. Outside leg kick from Cavalcanti and a right straight to the jaw. Cavalcanti fires another right. A combination follows, ending with another right. An eye poke from Nunes as Cavalcanti lands stops the fight. Replay shows a clean punch and the fight quickly resumes. Nunes fires forward with a left hand. Nunes turns up the pressure in the final seconds and charges forward, looking for an opening for punches as Cavalcanti dodges.

Round 3 – Nunes applies pressure early and tries to land a big left. A heated exchange now. Both land hard strikes. Cavalcanti returns to light-footed circling and offers singles. Nunes comes in with a big left and gets a counter uppercut. Cavalcanti tries a head kick and gets off his feet. Nunes tries to move in for ground and pound but Cavalcanti quickly gets back to his feet. Two minutes left. Nunes charges forward but Cavalcanti narrowly escapes. Front kick to the body from Cavalcanti. Nunes lands an overhand left around the guard. Cavalcanti lands a 1-2 as Nunes comes forward in the final exchanges.

Wang Cong vs Victoria Leonardo

Round 1 – They touch gloves and Leonardo starts to push forward. Wang circles outside and connects with punches and kicks. Hard outside leg kick for Wang. An inside kick follows. Wang tries a jab kick. She sits on a left hand and then, BANG! Right hand behind puts Leonardo to sleep for the walkoff KO! Wow!
