Passenger killed in motorcycle crash in Dorchester; NHSP investigates

One person is dead in a crash in Dorchester involving a car and a motorcycle, authorities said. New Hampshire State Police said patrol officers responded to the crash on Route 118 in Dorchester around 5 p.m. Saturday. Authorities said a motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Route 118 when it failed to negotiate a curve, crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle. The motorcycle's passenger, identified as Madeline Tredo, 23, of Meredith, died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash, state police said. The other people involved in the crash were treated by first responders at the scene, according to authorities. Route 118 was closed for several hours but is now reopened. According to authorities, a motorcycle was traveling east on Route 118 when it failed to make a turn, crossed the center line and collided with an oncoming vehicle.

State police said the motorcycle's passenger, 23-year-old Madeline Tredo of Meredith, died as a result of injuries she sustained in the crash.

Authorities said the other people involved in the accident were treated at the scene by first responders.

Line 118 was closed for several hours but is now open again.
