Seabrook Police and NHSP investigate moped accident

Seabrook police and New Hampshire State Police are investigating a crash on Walton Road that left one person hospitalized. Seabrook police said officers were called to Walton Road near the railroad bridge around 4:30 p.m. Saturday for a report of a single-vehicle crash with injuries. The Seabrook Fire Department confirmed the crash involved a single moped. Authorities said the moped driver was taken to Portsmouth Regional Hospital for treatment. Seabrook police have not yet confirmed the extent of the injuries. Walton Road was closed for several hours during the police investigation, but has since reopened, according to authorities.
