High school football coach arrested after allegedly reporting prostitute for theft

LAREDO, Texas (WKRC) – A high school football coach was arrested after he allegedly called police to report that a prostitute had stolen money from him.

According to authorities, Rolando Ramos called police on August 19 to report a theft. When they arrived at the scene, authorities found Ramos attempting to pay a prostitute for sexual services. The prostitute allegedly took $100 and ran away.

After the investigation was completed, Ramos was arrested on suspicion of inciting prostitution.

Laredo Morning NewspaperRamos was reportedly the quarterback coach for the Toros football team at Cigarroa High School.

In a statement to the Laredo Morning NewspaperVeronica Castillon of the Laredo Independent School District said, “LISD immediately placed the employee in question on leave. Disciplinary action is pending the outcome of an investigation by local law enforcement.”
