Californian punk rock frontman Anthony Mehlhaff is accused of “terrorizing” workers and tourists in Yosemite Park

A crazed frontman of the hardcore punk rock scene allegedly terrorized tourists and workers around Yosemite National Park, demanding that a pregnant waitress's baby was “his” while wreaking havoc in two California counties.

Anthony Mehlhaff, the lead actor in the Los Angeles-set series “Cancer Christ,” began his disturbing rampage around 1:45 p.m. Wednesday at a restaurant in the Buck Meadows neighborhood of Mariposa County, according to the Los Angeles Times.

Mehlhaff, 40, entered the restaurant and confronted a pregnant waitress, telling her that “the spirits led me to you,”

“Your baby is mine. When is your break because I'm waiting for you,” Mehlhaff said, according to the Mariposa County Sheriff's Office.

Mehlhaff is said to have stolen several drinks and attacked another restaurant employee before fleeing to Yosemite National Park, about 15 miles away.

Eventually, Mehlhaff crashed his car near the Fish Camp area, took off his shirt and handed it to a witness to the accident.

“You’ll want to keep this, I’m going to be famous,” said Mehlhaff.

While clearing the car, police discovered an Enola Gay smoke grenade.

Mehlhaff then stole a bicycle and went to the nearby Tenaya Lodge. He entered the kitchen through the back door, put his hat and other items in a refrigerator, then grabbed a knife and threatened the workers.

Mehlhaff then stripped down to his underwear and ordered the customers to leave the house, otherwise they would be in danger.

Mehlhaff is said to have attacked the manager and tried to “kidnap” him before the madman stole his car.

On the way back on Highway 41, Mehlhaff encountered a Tesla and showed extreme aggression. He drove close to the Tesla, made aggressive hand gestures and then rammed the car.

Mehlhaff was then pursued by sheriff's deputies in the area where he crashed the stolen car in Oakhurst. He was subsequently arrested by police and taken to a local hospital.

During his medical examination, Mehlhaff assaulted a Mariposa County Sheriff's deputy.

He was rearrested and later taken to the Mariposa County Jail, where he is being held on $100,000 bail.

Mehlhaff was charged with vandalism over $400, auto theft, reckless driving, kidnapping, first-degree burglary and robbery – all felonies, according to jail records obtained by The Post.

A recorded message on his phone told him to stay away from police and mental health professionals and to stop trying to contact him, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“Cancer Christ” mixes Christian, satanic and other “reptilian” imagery in a deliberately and unashamedly blasphemous blend, the outlet reported.

Recent albums and singles include “God Hates Cops,” “Satan is a B–ch,” and “God is Violence,” with the cover of the latter album depicting Jesus Christ shooting himself in the head with a shotgun.

“Spreading the gospel through their unique brand of reptilian power, Saint Anthony and The Snake People were sent from heaven on a holy mission to make all politicians, pedophiles and cops suffer slowly,” the band's now private website states, according to the LA Times.
