Man rescues highly poisonous cobra from kitchen and later releases it

Maybe it's only human, but our first reaction when we see a snake is to run in the opposite direction. In most other cases, the outcome is not so favorable for these reptiles and they end up being killed. But there are also a few brave people who stand up for these animals, show compassion and even rescue them if necessary. Like the man who rescued an Indian spectacled cobra from a hiding place in a garden shed and later released it again.

There is an important lesson for all of us here: all living beings are understanding and worthy of our compassion. Recently, Instagram user and animal rescuer Suraj Pandey, who describes himself as a snake lover on the platform, came face to face with another Indian spectacled cobra and did the right thing. The cobra is a highly venomous reptile, so you can imagine the courage Pandey had to muster to catch the animal and later release it.

How did the man rescue the cobra from a kitchen?

In the video shared on Instagram, Pandey carefully approaches the cobra sitting on the kitchen platform and tries to catch it by the neck using a metal rod. The snake then tries to disappear behind kitchen utensils, but Pandey catches it by the tail just in time. He then lowers the cobra to the ground and pushes it towards a cylindrical container. The next shot shows the snake being safely released into the wild.

On the occasion of Nag Panchami, we received a distress call from Virar in East Sarkar Nagar that a cobra had entered a house. As we were sitting in the kitchen as early as possible, we reached there and said that it was a spectacled cobra. It is a highly venomous snake. Safely rescued and released,” he wrote in the caption.

It is encouraging to see that there are some brave souls out there who are committed to saving wildlife, not for the money, but for innocent lives.
