Man shot dead in early morning double shooting – Eye Witness News

NASSAU, BAHAMAS – Police are investigating a dual shooting incident that occurred in the early morning hours of Sunday, August 25, 2024, that left an adult male dead in the Bozine Town area. The second victim remains hospitalized under medical supervision.

According to authorities, the incident occurred at approximately 1:00 a.m. on an unnamed road in the community of Bozine Town on the Tonique Williams-Darling Highway. A 20-year-old man and a 30-year-old man were killed, but their injuries were not life-threatening.

According to preliminary reports, both victims were at a party when shots were fired
nearby; both fled for their lives; however, the 20-year-old was shot several times around the body; he fled into a residential building, where he later collapsed, while the 30-year-old later realized that he had suffered a gunshot wound to the leg.

The emergency services arrived at the scene and examined the 20-year-old victim, but found no
Signs of life; they took the second victim to the hospital, where his condition is stable.
