Harrisburg police arrest one person in stabbing, one person injured

HARRISBURG, Pennsylvania – Harrisburg police arrested a man Saturday following a stabbing incident.

According to the Harrisburg Bureau of Police, they responded to a report of a stabbing in the 900 block of South Front Street around 12:15 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers located an adult male with a stab wound. The victim received first aid and was transported to a local hospital for further medical treatment.

Officers on scene were given a description of the suspect and were able to locate a man matching the description.

68-year-old Kevin Clayton was arrested and a knife was found, police said. The investigation is ongoing and Clayton has been charged with aggravated assault and possession of an instrument of crime.

Police said the victim is expected to fully recover from his injuries.
