21-year-old man arrested in Indio on suspicion of murder

A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of shooting a man in Indio, police said Sunday.

According to Indio police, officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 80,000 block of Jennifer Court around 2:30 a.m. Saturday. They found a man with a gunshot wound on the ground outside a home.

Indio Fire Department took the man to Desert Regional Medical Center, where he succumbed to his injuries.
