Key supplier arrested in breakup of drug ring in Boynton Beach

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. (CBS12) – A man was arrested for being a supplier to a drug ring, leading to the arrest of 17 people in Boynton Beach.

According to Attorney General Ashley Moody's office, 42-year-old William Moyo was responsible for supplying large quantities of cocaine and fentanyl to Operation Big Boi, a drug ring run by Johnson Joseph, which distributed the drugs throughout Palm Beach County.

“Law enforcement continues to take poison traffickers and their deadly products off our streets, and this latest arrest should serve as a warning to anyone seeking to smuggle drugs in our state. Florida law enforcement will track you down, and my prosecutors will make sure you go to prison,” said Attorney General Ashley Moody.

PSLPD is looking for three possible witnesses to a shooting outside a club

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. (CBS12) — Investigators in Port St. Lucie are trying to find three people who may have information about a shooting that happened outside a Port St. Lucie nightclub late last week.

The Port St. Lucie Police Department (PSLPD) on Monday added images of the trio to a graphic asking for information about the shooting outside Vybz Lounge that left two people hospitalized. The updated poster specifically noted that the three people are not suspects in the case.

However, the original image shared by police on Friday included images of the suspect, who is described as a man with short red hair and a beard. He was wearing all-black clothing and black sneakers at the time. An image of a black compact sedan that may have been involved in the incident was also included.

PSLPD investigators believe the shooting at the nightclub, 2096 NW Courtyard Circle, was targeted. Officers learned of the shooting shortly after 2 a.m. Friday when they were called to Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital after two patients were admitted with gunshot wounds.
