Couple charged with alleged assault | Crime reports

Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. – A Lewisburg couple has been charged after police were called to their home regarding an ongoing domestic dispute.

Patrolman Caleb Gehman of the Buffalo Valley Regional Police responded to the call early in the morning of July 26. Gehman spoke with Alyssa Fogle, 21, and Liam Conner Schum, 27, at the scene.

Schum told police he and Fogle had been arguing all day. The argument eventually turned physical and Fogle began throwing Shum's belongings when he said he wanted to leave, the affidavit states. Fogle also allegedly poured a cup of water on Schum and kicked him in the back. Schum allegedly punched Fogle in the face.

The two continued to argue until police were called. Gehman noticed that Schum had scratch marks on his chest and upper arms, marks on his right bicep and an abrasion on his back.

Fogle and Schum were charged with simple assault by District Judge Jeffrey A. Rowe.
