Two in hospital after head-on collision in Bourne – Boston 25 News

Bourne Police and other emergency personnel arrived at Sandwich Road near Longboat Road at around 10:25 p.m. where a head-on collision occurred.

An initial investigation revealed that a 2015 Nissan Rogue driven by a 25-year-old Burlington man crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2003 GMC Sierra.

The Nissan driver suffered minor injuries. The GMC driver suffered serious injuries.

The road was closed during the investigation. The road was reopened at around 3:00 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Bourne Police Department with assistance from the Cape Cod Regional Law Enforcement Council Accident Reconstruction Team.
