According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, Apple will likely hold the iPhone 16 launch event on September 10, with sales starting on September 20, 2024. This timing is in line with Apple's usual launch schedule, as the company usually unveils its new iPhones in the second week of September. Last year, the iPhone 15 models were unveiled on September 12 last year.

According to leaks, the iPhone 16 prices may increase this year due to higher production costs. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are expected to receive similar prices as last year, namely Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900 respectively. However, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max could see a price hike of up to Rs 10,000 in India. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max were priced at Rs 134,900 and Rs 159,900 respectively when they were launched in 2023.

According to reports, the standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models will be available in black, green, pink, blue and white, while the purple and yellow options will no longer be available. The iPhone 16 Pro models, on the other hand, are expected to be offered in black, white or silver, gray or natural titanium and a new rose gold color that replaces the previous blue titanium.

According to leaks, the iPhone 16 Pro models will be larger for the first time in years: The iPhone 16 Pro will have a 6.3-inch display and the iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 6.9-inch display.
