BTS Suga receives support from PSY and Park Sohee after DUI incident

New Delhi: BTS member Suga is embroiled in controversy after he was spotted riding an electric scooter while under the influence of alcohol. The South Korean public reacted strongly to the August 6 incident. Police called Suga as part of their investigation into his suspected driving while under the influence of alcohol. He later apologized several times and expressed guilt for his behavior.

Despite widespread criticism, Suga has a strong fan base behind him. At a recent event, pop artist PSY – who collaborated with Suga on the hit single “That That” – said, “I am incredibly grateful to Suga for writing and singing this song with me.”

Park Sohee supports Suga

Suga’s apology letter

Suga recently apologized to his followers for the drunk driving incident in a touching handwritten message on Weverse. He said, “Hello, I'm Suga. I would like to apologize to you once again with shame. I deeply apologize for the disappointment and pain of my misconduct towards my fans and everyone who loves me. I made a big mistake when I forgot the responsibility to repay you with actions worthy of the love I received.”

The post continued, “On the night of August 6th, I made the mistake of driving an electric scooter to India while drunk. I am also sorry for the confusion caused by my first apology that I hastily posted on the 7th. I should have thought more carefully and been more careful, but I couldn't. It's all my fault. My carelessness is making life difficult for everyone who cares about me. I will try not to do anything wrong again and live with regret.”
