The Democrats put on the world's most fake show at the DNC with Kamala Harris' shameless stunt as a moderate politician who takes a tough stance on crime

Something strange happened at the Democratic National Convention last week. Not only did Kamala Harris steal Donald Trump's tax-exempt tip policy, but her party also morphed into the MAGA Republicans before our very eyes.

While they once denigrated the American flag as racist and sometimes even set it on fire, Democrats here were drowning in a sea of stars and stripes when Harris took the stage Thursday night.

One minute, Oprah was stealing Trump's refrain about “common sense.”

The next moment, Pete Buttigieg introduced himself to the crowd with the words: “You may know me from Fox News.”

Convention attendees wore camouflage hats, and entertainment included a country singer from rural Alabama and a sheriff in uniform.

Between the chants of “USA! USA!”, Harris' appeals to God and country, and Tim “Stolen Valor” Walz's cheesy performance as a Midwestern conservative, you might think you were at a Trump rally.

That's exactly what Harris's astute think tank of former Obama supporters would have you believe.

By turning Comrade Kamala into an ideological moderate, a tough-on-law prosecutor, and a national security hawk, they are launching a blatant attempt to win over swing voters, independents, and the 500,000 Republicans who voted for “Anyone but Trump” in the Republican primaries on Super Tuesday.

Wall of shamelessness

In her campaign video, Harris even showed Trump's border wall, which she had previously vilified and blocked.

“Fixing the border is difficult,” says the narrator. “That goes for Kamala Harris too.”

The shamelessness is breathtaking. As the Biden administration's point person on illegal migration since March 2021, the so-called “border czar” Harris is responsible for the unhindered invasion of more than 10 million illegal immigrants who have crossed the southern border.

But now we're being told she's tougher than Trump – an aggressive “border prosecutor” with a track record of fighting the cartels that control the border.

“After decades in the police force, I know how important security and protection are, especially at our border,” she said with a serious expression.

Her speech portrayed her as a “tough opponent of crime,” even though she had publicly praised the movement to defund the police and incited rioters at the height of the BLM-Antifa riots in 2020.

“They're not going to stop,” she told Stephen Colbert in June 2020. “They're not going to let up – and they shouldn't.”

She even launched a fundraiser to rescue the rioters who devastated Minneapolis.

She is the opposite of a law-and-order candidate, and the easiest way to understand her new personality is to realize that every position she took on Thursday is the opposite of the truth.

Her speech was a cynical grab bag of poll-based slogans designed to allay conservatives' well-founded fears that she was a left-wing radical in sheep's clothing.

There was hardly a peep from progressives in the room or in the media complaining about Harris' abrupt about-face. They know exactly what is going on.

In a clip that went viral on social media, a spokesperson at a meeting of the DNC's Black Caucus let the cat out of the bag: “We have 70 days to behave right… After 70 days, we can start acting crazy again.”

Those most excited about the Democrats' convention were the warmongering Trump opponents who hate the former president so much that they would not hesitate to throw all conservative principles overboard to worship a leftist.

Bill Kristol, the Iraq war's biggest supporter, for example, wasted no time in endorsing Harris, praising Thursday's prime-time appearance by former CIA director Leon Panetta, one of the unrepentant “Dirty 51” liars who falsely claimed that Russian disinformation was circulating on Hunter Biden's laptop.

“Leon Panetta quotes Ronald Reagan!” tweeted Kristol. “My kind of Democratic convention.”

Among the renegade Republicans who were given prime-time speaking time was former Representative Adam Kinzinger, Nancy Pelosi's favorite traitor on the Jan. 6 committee: “The Democrats are just as patriotic as” the Republicans, he gushed.

He later told CNN that Harris' speech was “really good.” Trump has ceded so much ground that used to be traditionally Republican. [such as] national defense … Kamala came and took this ground [on] immigration [and] Ukraine. I think if you're an undecided Republican, it's hard not to vote for Kamala right now.”

He's a cheap date.

Harris's skilled speechwriters had peppered her speech with enough buzzwords to satisfy the neoconservatives. She claimed that she had “confronted threats to our security, negotiated with foreign leaders, and strengthened our alliances.”

She even boasted about meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at the Munich Security Conference in February 2022 “to warn him about Russia’s invasion plans,” as if the concentration of Russian troops on its border was not obvious.

One observer of her appearance in Munich was astonished that she mentioned it in her speech because it was so embarrassing. Five days later, Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, so if that wasn't her goal, she failed miserably.

As part of her new persona, Harris wore a conservative navy pantsuit instead of the pastel colors she usually favors and made no big deal about being a woman.

After years of denouncing toxic masculinity, especially pale-skinned masculinity, Democrats are now inviting “white guys for Kamala” to the negotiating table. However, as CNN anchor Dana Bash pointed out, these are not “the testosterone-charged, gun-toting guy who wants to listen to Hulk Hogan,” but rather submissive men who know their place in the matriarchy – like Walz and Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff.

A Kennedy says it best

The antidote to the chaotic Alice in Wonderland bubble at the DNC convention was Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s sincere and considered support for Trump on Friday.

“How could the Democratic Party select a candidate who has never given an interview or participated in a debate during the entire election cycle? We know the answers. They did it by weaponizing government agencies. They did it by abandoning democracy,” Kennedy said.

“They did it by silencing the opposition and disempowering the American electorate. What worries me most is not the way the Democratic Party conducts its internal affairs or nominates its candidates. What worries me is the resort to censorship and media control and the instrumentalization of federal agencies.”

“In a single speech, he refuted the deceptions of the DNC convention and showed how hollow the party's appeals to 'freedom' are.

Harris-Waltz's freedom is that they are forced to go along with their big government projects, like “free” college, “free” child care, “Medicare for all,” price fixing, and taxes on nonexistent profits to fund it all.

It is freedom from FBI censorship and CIA lies, from SWAT raids on pro-lifers' homes and state spies at Catholic masses. It is freedom from Mao and Stalin and from authoritarians everywhere.

In the explosion of joy that Harris' rise has provoked, no dissent is allowed.

The censorship industrial complex will see to that. Otherwise you will end up in the Gulag.
