Dream job alert! Man earns thousands riding roller coasters

While many people spend their weekdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. typing away at their desks, Sean Evans lives his life to the fullest by riding roller coasters.

The 33-year-old content creator rides rollercoasters for a living! Sean, who hails from Stoke-on-Trent in England, is a professional rollercoaster rider.

He reportedly earns six figures by sharing videos of himself riding the craziest, scariest, highest, wettest and fastest rollercoasters in the UK and around the world.

Surprisingly, Sean was afraid of heights as a child and swore off roller coasters after facing his fear during a school trip. He still gets butterflies in his stomach when he gets on a roller coaster, but his fear disappears with each twist and turn of the ride.

He has now been on over 100 roller coaster rides!

Sean's journey to his dream life as a professional roller coaster rider began during COVID-19. Like many others stuck at home, he started watching videos on YouTube.

He enjoyed watching theme park videos and decided to start his own channel, Lift Hills and Thrills. With only 20,700 subscribers, he's nowhere near the number of content creators like MrBeast, who has a whopping 300 million subscribers, but his videos are a hit with thrill-seeking, adrenaline-loving roller coaster fans.

So how exactly did he turn his hobby into a full-time job?

“Out of [YouTube] Revenue, affiliate marketing, brand deals, consulting, sponsorships, website advertising, product sales, paid TV spots, and even more behind the scenes at Lift Hills and Thrills. It quickly evolved from a hobby to a full-time job,” he said on Instagram.

“My entire story of self-employment has been about making money doing something I love, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the people around me for their support.”

He may not be a millionaire, but it's still better than staring at a screen all day, counting down the hours to kill time.

“I'm a guy from Stoke trying his best to get this channel out to the masses… This is where I want to share my hobbies and passions, create memories with friends and look back on this in years to come and say 'I did this, I went there and I achieved this,'” he said on YouTube.
