Funke Akindele calls out WhatsApp scammer who uses her photo to demand 200,000 Naira from victims, leaks chat

Popular actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has exposed a fraudster named Prosper.

The mother of two tweeted on Sunday, August 25, using her X-handle, sharing a screenshot of the scammer using her picture and name to demand money from unsuspecting victims.

In one of the WhatsApp chats spark As reported, the scammer asked his victim to lend him 200,000 Naira and promised to refund the money the next day.

Funke shared screenshots, cursed the scammer and warned his fans not to fall for such scams.

“Please be careful!!! That’s not mine!!! Prosper!!! That’s not Prosper for you, o!!! Ole!!!”

Funke Akindele and others donate millions for Bobrisky

In the meantime, Legit.ng reported that Bobrisky made headlines after he revealed well-known top female celebrities who donated a total of 18.7 million Naira to him.

According to Bobrisky, actress Eniola Ajao gave him 6 million naira, Funke Akindele and Tiwa Savage gave him 2.5 million naira each and Tonto Dikeh gave him 1 million naira.

This has since sparked outrage on social media as it happened just weeks after Bobrisky’s release.
