Michael Morales passed the Neil Magny test on Saturday.

Magny, who is ranked 13th in the UFC welterweight rankings before the event, has long been the guy to beat if you want to go from hopeful to serious contender. Morales not only passed the test, he passed it with flying colors, knocking out his experienced opponent in the first round.

The win would put the undefeated Ecuadorian into the top 15, where he will face fights against the division's top dogs.

Our tip for his next opponent is England's Michael “Venom” Page. Page, a former Bellator champion, is coming off a narrow point loss to Ian Garry and will soon be looking for a chance to bounce back. As number 14, he may not be as big a step up as Morales deserves after knocking out Magny, but most welterweights in the top 15 are booked and on paper it's an incredible clash as both fighters have a penchant for spectacular knockouts. Book it for a future pay-per-view and keep the bonus checks ready.
