Motorcyclist hospitalized after accident in southeast Minnesota

Rushford, MN (KROC-AM News) – A motorcyclist was hospitalized after crashing on a highway in southeastern Minnesota over the weekend.

He was the only person on the motorcycle. The State Patrol responded to the motorcycle crash in Fillmore County at 3:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

Anthony George Dudley, 60, of Owatonna, was identified as the motorcyclist. He was taken to a hospital in Winona after the accident.

Dudley lost control of the motorcycle he was riding on Highway 43 in Rushford Village, the state accident report says.

The motorcycle went off the road and came to rest in the ditch. Authorities describe Dudley's injuries as non-life-threatening.

He was not wearing a helmet and alcohol was not involved in the accident, the report says.

Rushford Fire Department and Ambulance responded to the accident.
