Coroner identifies man killed in shooting at gas station in Paddock Hills

Police had surrounded a gas station in Paddock Hills by Monday morning following a fatal shooting. It all started early Monday morning at the BP gas station on Reading Road, near the Norwood Lateral. The gas station is cordoned off with crime scene tape as police are still looking for answers as to what exactly happened around 3 a.m. Police say one person was found dead behind the counter of the gas station. The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Dana Bruenton. So far, two people have been detained for questioning in connection with this shooting. After a fatal shooting, police surrounded a gas station in Paddock Hills until Monday morning.

It all started early Monday morning at the BP gas station on Reading Road, near the Norwood Lateral.

Crime scene tape cordons off the area as police continue to search for answers as to what exactly happened around 3 a.m.

According to police, a person was found dead behind the counter at the gas station.

The victim was identified as 57-year-old Dana Bruenton.

So far, two people have been arrested for questioning in connection with this shooting.
