Suspect accused of killing man in Highlands to appear in court on Monday

A man arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in Highlands is scheduled to appear in court Monday. Louisville Metro Police say Richie Williams shot and killed Montay Wade on a busy stretch of Baxter Avenue earlier this month. A third man, Michael Bachelor Jr., was shot in a separate shooting around the same time. Williams is charged with murder and is being held on $500,000 bail. Related stories:

LOUISVILLE, Ky. —

A man arrested in connection with a fatal shooting in the Highlands is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.

According to Louisville Metro Police, Richie Williams shot and killed Montay Wade on a busy stretch of Baxter Avenue earlier this month.

A third man, Michael Bachelor Jr., was shot and killed in a separate shooting around the same time.

Williams is charged with murder and is being held on $500,000 bail.
