Google Pixel 9a leaks with almost flat camera bar

The Pixel 9 series launched less than two weeks ago with four members, including a standard Pixel 9, two Pros, and a foldable. That leaves room for another device in the A-series and we have our first live look at the upcoming Pixel 9a.

From the front, the device looks just like the current generation Pixel 9s with a flat display and punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera. The bezels appear to be thicker than the Pixel 9 and 9 Pro models, which wouldn't be a surprise since the Pixel 8a also has thicker bezels than its siblings.

The sides of the 9a appear to be made of aluminum like the Pixel 9, and feature the same matte finish. The SIM slot, USB-C port, and speaker are all located at the bottom. On the back, the 9a has a full glass back with a small camera bar that houses the dual cameras and a glossy ring around the sensors that sits almost flush with the back.

The new leak suggests that the Pixel 9a will launch towards the end of this year and will be available in four colors, including black (pictured above) and silver. The device is expected to launch with Google's new Tensor G4 chipset.
