Police and BCI investigate suspicious death in Greene County – WHIO TV 7 and WHIO Radio

BEAVERCREEK – Detectives are investigating after a man was found dead in his Beavercreek home Thursday, according to Beavercreek Police Captain Scott Molnar.

Beaver Creek Police received reports of a death at a home in the 1800 block of Maple Lane around 9 p.m.

The victim was identified as Michael Corrigan, 55.

Molnar said police believe Corrigan died from a gunshot wound.

According to the police report, this incident is being investigated as a homicide.

The Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) was called to the scene to secure evidence.

According to Molnar, the evidence suggests this is an isolated case and poses no threat to the community.
