Clark G the Dog's death goes viral as fans mourn popular internet sensation

The dog Clark G, a popular Dutch Shepherd mix, recently went viral following the news of his death.

Although Clark passed away on June 5, his death only now gained widespread attention as fans began re-sharing his famous TikTok videos of him “talking” to people. These videos have also gained traction on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Clark G rose to fame over a decade ago when a YouTube video titled “Ultimate Dog Tease,” which featured his actions dubbed to his voice, went viral. His charismatic personality captured the hearts of many and quickly made him an internet sensation.

Clark's owner, Jennifer Skalecke, announced his death on Facebook with a heartfelt message: “It is with great sadness that I must inform you that Clark has crossed the rainbow bridge to be with his Layla.” She expressed how much the family will miss Clark's unique personality, adding: “Mommy will miss him running after her all over the house and yelling at her whenever she comes home from somewhere.”

Despite her sadness, Jennifer also thanked her fans, saying, “You all gave us hope for humanity in the future. You are all incredible!” Clark G's legacy lives on through the lives he touched and the countless dogs saved by his celebrity.
