Ice Cube's son worries about Ludacris after his viral glacier water video

Ice Cube's son, O'Shea Jackson Jr., is worried about Ludacris after the rapper shared a video of himself drinking still water straight from a glacier in Alaska. In the viral clip, he fills his bottle with the ice cold water and takes a brave sip. Reacting to the move, Jackson Jr. wrote on X (formerly Twitter), “……how long ago was this and were we monitoring him?” In a follow-up post, he added, “I see a lot of people using foul language but still water is still water. Boil the crap and make it cold again. Shout out to @big_business_. Saw this video on his post about the same topic.”

When Hollywood unlocked When he posted the clip on Instagram, users raised similar concerns for Ludacris' well-being. “First off… you should NEVER drink still water,” one fan wrote. “Unless you're in the wilderness and happen to have a water purification kit with you. He said it's a 600,000 year old glacier… how many ancient bacteria, parasites, diseases, etc. thaw and thrive in that water? No thanks, leave it alone.” Another added, “Last year they found another strain of chlamydia in solid ice and they thawed it out guys! Didn't your grandmas tell you all that glitters is not gold?”

Ludacris originally shared the video on his Instagram account. “I couldn't just come here and put on a show,” he explains in the clip. “You know, I have a bucket list – or as I like to call it, the fuck it list. I've never tasted fresh glacier water in my life and this is the first time. Let's go!” He eventually confirmed the concerns to X, describing the water as the “best tasting” he'd ever tasted.
