TIFF entry 'Elton John: Never Too Late' hits limited theaters in US and UK before hitting Disney+ | News

World premiere in Toronto Elton John: Never too late will be in theaters in the US and UK for a limited time on November 15th before premiering on Disney+ on December 13th.

RJ Cutler and John's husband David Furnish co-directed the documentary, in which the British superstar looks back on his tough early years and prepares for his final concert in North America at Dodger Stadium.

The film, which features a new original song by John, tells how he overcame adversity, abuse and addiction to become a global icon. It will premiere on September 6 at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) Gala Presentations.

John is expected to attend the world premiere at TIFF and will also appear at the European premiere at the BFI London Film Festival on October 10th.

Elton John: Never too late from Disney Branded Television is produced by Rocket Entertainment and This Machine Filmworks, part of Sony Pictures Television.

Cutler and Furnish serve as producers alongside Trevor Smith. Elise Pearlstein, Mark Blatty, Luke Lloyd Davies, Rachael Paley, Jane Cha Cutler and John Battsek serve as executive producers.
