Two teenage girls stabbed to death in brawl at New York State Fair on Saturday night

Two teenagers were stabbed in a fight at the Great New York State Fair on Saturday.

According to the New York State Police, officers assigned to the State Fair received a call about a fight in front of the Exposition Center at around 10:21 p.m.

When officers arrived, they saw several teenagers involved in a physical altercation. During the altercation, one girl was stabbed in the right shoulder and was taken to Upstate University Hospital in stable condition. Officers learned that a second girl involved in the altercation suffered a stab wound to the buttocks and was taken to Crouse Hospital by private vehicle. She was later treated and released.

A 15-year-old girl was arrested for second-degree assault (class D felony) and fourth-degree illegal possession of a weapon (class A misdemeanor).

According to the New York State Police, the investigation is still ongoing.
