An Iowa man has been charged in federal court for distributing videos showing monkey torture and mutilation. Philip Colt Moss allegedly conspired with two others to create the material. Prosecutors say Moss and the two other men allegedly created videos showing monkeys having their genitals burned or cut off with scissors. An Iowa man has been charged in federal court for distributing videos showing the torture and mutilation of monkeys.

Philip Colt Moss is accused of conspiring with two others to create the footage. Prosecutors say Moss and the other two men allegedly created videos depicting monkeys having their genitals burned or cut off with scissors.

If convicted, Moss faces a total of 12 years in a federal prison.
