Third day of jury deliberations begins

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (FOX5) – Jurors have begun deliberations for the third day in the Robert Telles trial. The jury resumed deliberations behind closed doors shortly after 8:55 a.m. Wednesday.

Telles is accused of stabbing longtime Las Vegas Review-Journal journalist Jeff German to death in 2022.

The jury spent nearly two weeks listening to testimony and reviewing over 300 pieces of evidence while taking notes and analyzing everything thoroughly. We even heard interesting questions from them. It's telling how long they've been deliberating.

German's family is at the Regional Justice Center every day to attend the trial. Public administration employees are also waiting anxiously for news from the jury deliberation room.

FOX5 will broadcast everything that happens in the courtroom. This article will be updated.
