Drug raid in Detroit results in $17,000, weapons and a motorcycle being seized

A Michigan State Police task force seized several weapons, various drugs, a stolen motorcycle and $17,000 in cash during a raid on Wednesday, August 28.

According to police, detectives from the County of Macomb Enforcement Team (COMET) executed a search warrant on a Detroit residence this morning and seized 170 grams of crack cocaine, 59 grams of Suboxone, 157 grams of fentanyl, 254 grams of meth, 10 firearms, a stolen motorcycle and $17,000 in cash.

The weapons seized were semi-automatic weapons, including a 12-gauge shotgun. Along with the weapons, 14 high-capacity magazines were seized, some of which contained between 30 and 100 rounds. Two of the 12-gauge shotgun's magazines had a capacity of 30 rounds.

Almost all of the dealer's customers came from Macomb County. He supplied both Macomb County drug dealers and drug users.
