PITTSBURGH (KDKA) – A former Rivers Casino employee has filed a lawsuit claiming she was fired after reporting multiple cases of sexual harassment.

In the lawsuit, the former employee claims she was fired in retaliation for complaints of sexual harassment. According to court documents, she was hired in June 2022 and dealt primarily with high rollers and people described in the complaint as very, very important people.

In one case, she said, a guest hugged her from the side and kissed her on the corner of her mouth without her consent.

The lawsuit describes five alleged incidents, some of which are too graphic to be made public, but all occurred within a six-month period, according to court documents.

In December 2022, she was fired for insubordination. However, she claims it was retaliation because she had reported another alleged incident just a month earlier and spoken to management about ongoing sexual harassment and lack of support.

She is demanding compensation and her job back.

KDKA-TV contacted Rivers Casino and a spokesperson said they could not comment on pending litigation.
