DuBois Justice of the Peace Raided | Crime

DuBOIS – Preliminary hearings and further proceedings were held August 23 in DuBois with District Judge David Meholick presiding.

Hearings were waived

The following defendants have waived their right to a preliminary hearing and will be formally arraigned in the Court of Common Pleas of Clearfield County for further proceedings.

  • Tanner Quackenbush, of DuBois, is charged with two counts of criminal trespass by entering a building, a third-degree felony, and two counts of providing false identification to police, a third-degree misdemeanor. Bail was set at $10,000.

Brought to courtAfter a preliminary hearing, there was sufficient evidence to refer the following cases to the Clearfield County Court of Common Pleas for further adjudication.

  • Alexander Harmon, 45, of Akron, Ohio, is charged with one count of driving under the influence of a controlled substance (DUI) – metabolite – fourth and subsequent offenses, a second-degree felony; two counts of driving under the influence of a controlled substance (DUI) – first offense; one count of driving under the influence of alcohol/controlled substance (DUI) – first offense; and traffic violations.
  • Jamie Lynn Ross, 45, of Bellefonte, is charged with shoplifting (receiving stolen goods, a first-degree misdemeanor) and receiving stolen goods, a first-degree misdemeanor.

Continuation of the hearings

  • Tosha Lynn Riggie, 25, of Punxsutawney, is charged with one misdemeanor count of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • Thomas John Schram, 38, of DuBois, is charged with one felony count of manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver, two misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance and one misdemeanor count of use/possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $25,000.
