Get hired! Mega job fair in Sunrise. Here's what you need to know when you go.

SUNRISE – More than 100 human resource managers and corporate recruiters will try to fill thousands of jobs at a mega job fair in Sunrise on Thursday. The companies are hiring for positions in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach counties.

The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise. Those interested are asked to arrive around 10 a.m. rather than 2 p.m. Parking is free.

Recruiters include Broward County Board of Commissioners, Broward County Public Schools, Broward County Transit, City of Sunrise, Sunrise Police Department, City of Boca Raton, HealthTrust Workforce Solutions, Massey Services, New York Life Insurance, GMS Connect, USPS, Sanitas, Kelly Education and The Riverside Hotel.

The openings range from entry level to management level. Positions include police officers, security guards, food service, technicians, sales representatives, customer service, IT, teaching assistants, insurance agents and customer service representatives.
