Donnellson man faces multiple drug charges after Lee County Task Force raid

Donnellson, Ia. (KHQA) — The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Donnellson man on felony drug charges.

Johnny Ray Garcia, 52, of Donnellson is charged with: possession of more than 5 grams of methamphetamine with intent to resell (a Class B felony); Iowa drug tax stamp violation (a Class D felony); possession of marijuana (3rd offense), a felony; operating a drug house (a felony); and possession of drug paraphernalia (a simple misdemeanor).

The charges were filed after the Lee County Drug Enforcement Task Force executed a search warrant for a residence in Donnellson. Johnny Garcia was encountered at the residence and found in possession of items supporting the charges.

The Lee County Drug Task Force was assisted by the Donnellson Police Department, Lee County Sheriff's Office and Lee County District Attorney's Office.

The defendant in this case is presumed innocent until proven guilty. The Lee County Narcotics Task Force is funded in part by the U.S. Department of Justice and the Iowa Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy.
