The ex-husband of “RHOA” newcomer Kelli Ferrell has to go to prison for not paying nearly $15,000 in child support

Reality TV newbie Kelli Ferrell doesn't joke around when it comes to collecting what's owed to her.

According to reports Real Housewives of Atlanta A newcomer successfully petitioned a judge to hold her ex-husband in contempt of court for unpaid child support, which resulted in him serving a prison sentence.

According to court documents obtained by In Touch, Kelli Ferrell accused her ex-husband Chuvalo Mark Ferrell for repeatedly “willfully and maliciously” refusing to pay court-ordered child support following their divorce in 2022. In her application, the restaurant owner wrote that despite the agreement on a parenting plan with Chuvalo in 2023, giving her primary custody and joint legal rights, her ex has failed to pay the required $626 per month in child support and $1,500 in other care expenses. Kelly claimed that her former spouse had missed payments for November and December 2023 and January of this year, leading to her first successful attempt to Chuvalo jailed. A judge reportedly found him guilty of contempt of court in the matter and he was taken into police custody on January 12.
