Pregnant Brittany Mahomes shares insights into her ‘toughest’ journey with baby No. 3

Brittany Mahomes now knows exactly how to get back on its feet.

After Sports illustrated Model – that shares children sterling3 and Bronze20 months, with Patrick Mahomes and is pregnant with her third baby – suffered a broken back earlier this year and described in detail the best ways to recover after giving birth.

“Pelvic floor therapy and really focus on your breathing techniques, otherwise you will hurt yourself,” Brittany explained at the Whoop Podcast on August 28th, in which she describes her own injury experience. “Obviously, I've been training my whole life, so I had kids and then I was like, 'Oh, I'll just keep training like I always have, I'll be fine.' Well, I hurt my back.”

And Brittany admitted that she only started taking low-impact exercises seriously after breaking her back, which she first spoke about in March.

“I went to therapy, to the chiropractor, had X-rays done,” she recalled. “A lot of people talk about pelvic floor therapy and how important it is to strengthen the pelvic floor after having children. So naturally I started doing more of that because I was injured and that was kind of my therapy.”
