If you haven’t seen the show, Welcome to Gravity Falls is a Disney animated series about twin siblings Mabel and Dipper Pines, who uncover a mysterious conspiracy in the small town of Gravity Falls, Oregon, involving supernatural creatures and their eccentric Grunkle Stan. The series is essentially a The X-Files-style show for kids dealing with oddities and the bizarre, and no collection of oddities would be complete without Weird Al Yankovic stopping by.

Yankovic was last seen as an Easter egg on the show's mysterious teaser website (see here), but he seems interested in a full-fledged return. While he says he doesn't know if he'll come back, the way he says “I always like doing anything with Alex” might suggest that the show does indeed have a future.

As with any cult television series, fans can plot, speculate, imagine, and suggest fan theories, but the creator always has the final say. Welcome to Gravity Falls Fans have the luxury of knowing that Alex Hirsch cares about his fan base and even plays with some of their delusions.

At the time of writing, it's unknown what will become of the show, but Disney has definitely invested a lot of time, money, and effort into making it something as simple as fan service, so a return to the Mystery Shack is all but inevitable.
