Taylor Swift in the audience at Arrowhead

Taylor Swift fans love to analyze her every move, and the NFL season opener is no different.

Shortly after Swift appeared in an all-denim outfit and red over-the-knee boots, Swifties began discussing what exactly the look might look like ✨mean✨.

“If you saw Taylor Swift's NFL season opener outfit and immediately had a feeling of déjà vu, you are not alone,” @thethriftyswiftie said in a video. “I saw these maroon thigh high boots and immediately thought of only one thing: the boots Miss Taylor Swift wore in the 'Look What You Made Me Do' music video.”

The TikToker goes on to say that in the music video, Swift is “literally in the vault stealing what should be hers,” which fans will recognize as a reference to Swift's infamous feud with music manager Scooter Braun and her quest to re-record her first six albums in order to own the masters.

“I’m not saying it necessarily means anything, but I’m also not saying it not mean something,” concludes @thethriftyswiftie.

Swift's fans have been waiting a long time for the re-recording of her 2017 album “Reputation”, but so far without success.

According to @TaylorSwiftStyled, an unofficial Swift fan account run by Sarah Chapelle that reveals where the superstar shops for her looks, Swift's game day shoes are Giuseppe Zanotti's “Frannie Boot,” which retail for $1,650.

Chapelle noted that while Swift's appearance in the season premiere is a bit more edgy than her appearance in the 2023 game, it makes sense given her public relationship with Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. The two were photographed kissing and hugging on the field after the Chiefs won the Super Bowl last season.

“When you make out on the field at the Super Bowl, there is no going back to modesty,” Chapelle wrote alongside a photo of the boots and Swift.

Swift’s top is from Versace, the “Medusa Bustier,” says Chapelle.
