Arizona Cardinals announce college schedule for the first time

Of course, right after I published my NFC West NFL Uniform Preview, I noted, “At the time of this writing, the Cardinals have not released a uniform schedule, so it is unknown if and how often the team will wear the solid black jerseys this season.”

Well, this year the Cardinals did just that, and now we not only know when the team will wear their alternate mono-black uniforms, but also what they will wear. everyone Game.

As I suspected, the team will continue to wear their white helmets and all-red jerseys at home and their all-white jerseys away. Unfortunately, they will not be combining the red and white jerseys and pants.

Now that the full uni schedule is available, let's see what they'll be wearing and when.

EVERYTHING RED

They will wear this horrible combination six times this season in all home games, with the exception of the game against Miami, who will wear their white jerseys at home.

ALL WHITE

I like this combination a little better last year, aside from the white socks. It's actually a pretty decent modern version of their uniform, with stripes on the sleeves and pants to boot. If they could bring themselves to just wear red socks, it would be one of the better all-white uniforms in the game. As it stands, it's not, but it has potential.

The Cards will wear this combination eight times in their away games.

ALL BLACK

I never thought I would like a BFBS uniform more than a team's primary uniform, but the Cardinals' alternate all-black uniform is actually a much better uniform than the team's all-red number. That's not a compliment to either uniform.

This will allow the team to maximize its alternative usage options and wear the jersey a maximum of three times at all home games.

I am certainly glad that another team has joined the ranks of teams that publish consistent schedules (and it is even better that this is an actual Uniform (Not just a “jersey schedule” like some teams like to do.) It's just a shame that the team has had such shabby uniforms from the start.
