NBA stars react to incredible news about Bam Adebayo

Bam Adebayo has been one of the Miami Heat’s best players since he was signed seven years ago.

He is coming off another outstanding season and a summer in which he helped lead the U.S. team to the gold medal at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.

On Wednesday, the former Kentucky star received the key to the county.

Adebayo was selected 14th overall in the 2017 NBA Draft.

He is coming off a year in which he averaged 19.3 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.9 assists and 1.1 steals per game in 71 games, shooting 52.1% from the field and 35.7% from three-point range.

The Heat were number 8 in the Eastern Conference with a record of 46-36.

They lost in the first round of the NBA playoffs (in five games) to Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics.

However, the Heat have been in the NBA finals in two of the last five seasons.
