When it comes to this year's Country Champion Award winner, there are no more “what ifs”.

Kane Brown will be honored at the 2024 People's Choice Country Awards for his passion and groundbreaking contribution to the country music industry and beyond, NBC and Peacock announced Sept. 6.

“Since the beginning of his career, Kane Brown has ensured that his legacy extends beyond music,” Jen NealExecutive Vice President of Live Events and Specials at NBCUniversal Entertainment, said in a statement. “His commitment to empowering and supporting younger generations is nothing short of inspirational and we are thrilled to honor him with the Country Champion Award.”

And Brown is in good company. Last year, music icon Wynonna Judd received the first ever Country Champion Award during the opening ceremony of the PCCAs.

Brown is not the only star to be honored at this year's broadcast. Last month, it was announced that Miranda Lambert is honored with the Country Icon Award for her decades-long career and influence on the genre.

And the legendary Shania Twain will be hosting the show on September 26th, so be sure to look forward to a great time.

“Country has some of the most passionate fans in music and we artists are so lucky to be supported doing what we love,” the “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” singer said in a statement in July. “Get ready for an unforgettable show with lots of big hair, glamour, rhinestones, hats, boots and incredible performances. Giddy Up!”
