Watch the Houston Texans 2024 hype video with JJ Watt

HOUSTON – If you weren’t already excited for the Houston Texans’ season opener, former Texans legend JJ Watt has a solution for you.

The Texans released their hype video on social media on Thursday, featuring Watt talking about the upcoming season – one of the most highly anticipated in franchise history.

The team made a remarkable turnaround last season after spending several years at the bottom of the AFC South. The Texans' turnaround included a playoff appearance and a first-round win over Cleveland.

So, going into this season, there is a lot of expectation and a lot of hype – something Watt talks about in the video.

“That's just talk,” he said in the video. “Because here, success belongs. It's leased. And the rent? That shit has to be paid every damn day.”

The video features last season's heroes including CJ Stroud, Will Anderson Jr., DeMeco Ryans and more. It also features new additions Danielle Hunter, Stefon Diggs and Joe Mixon.
