With tuition costs rising, football-loving students can save a lot by taking advantage of the student discount on NFL Sunday Ticket.

The package normally costs $479, but students can get the NFL Sunday Ticket for $199 – and they can add NFL RedZone for $10.

The regular season begins on September 5th at 8:20 p.m. ET with “Thursday Night Football”: The Baltimore Ravens play against the Kansas City Chiefs. The NFL Sunday Ticket includes all regular season NFL games outside of the respective market that are not broadcast on local television on Sundays.

The discount is available to students attending college or university, and they can sign up on YouTube's NFL Sunday Ticket website. Google outbid Amazon and ESPN for the rights to NFL Sunday Ticket in December 2022, paying $2 billion annually for seven years. Previously, DirecTV had been the home of NFL Sunday Ticket since its launch in 1994.

How to get the student discount for the NFL Sunday Ticket

Students can sign up for the NFL Sunday Ticket Student Plan on the YouTube website for $199. YouTube recommends using a personal email address to set up NFL Sunday Ticket (you'll be looking through the NFL page on YouTube) as some university networks have restrictions on .edu accounts.
