Bre Tiesi's ex-husband Johnny Manziel admits he cheated on her during their marriage on “Selling Sunset”

Bre Tiesi and her ex-husband Johnny Manziel leave their difficult past behind them.

During the 8th season of Sell ​​sunset (premieres September 6), the Oppenheim Group agent explains that she is helping the former NFL star find a new home – despite their complicated shared past.

“My ex-husband Johnny Manziel reached out because he's looking for a house in LA. I'm going to help him find something, but we're going to make sure he lives very far away from me,” Tiesi jokes during a confessional clip in Episode 6.

While touring a $4 million home, a clarifying conversation takes place between the two as they view the property's exterior.

“Life happens the way it's supposed to happen,” Manziel tells his ex. “You're in a position now where you've gotten exactly what you wanted in life. And I'm proud of you and happy for you.”

He continues, “I learned a lot about what I was doing wrong. I was a lost, depressed kid running around the Hollywood Hills, getting drunk every night and living in a nightclub. And probably spending a lot of time behind your back.”

Tiesi interrupts her: “Oh, you spent a lot of time on your back with someone else, but yes, it's okay,” alluding to the infidelity during their marriage.

At the beginning of Episode 5, she tells fellow agent Chelsea Lazkani that her ex cheated on her with “multiple women” while they were together.

Then the former quarterback starts laughing and nods his head.

“Yes, Bre, yes. Yes, I know,” he agrees.

He adds: “And to this day I feel guilty about how I treated you. The divorce after our separation was one of the hardest moments in my life and I cried and begged and pleaded.”

The scene changes to another confession-style clip in which Tiesi processes the apology her ex just gave her.

“I'm glad to hear that J realises the hell he put me through. It tells me that at least my efforts are recognised and not all of it was in vain,” she says. “Johnny is like Peter Pan, he just never wants to grow up. So we let him stay in his little fairyland.”

Tiesi and Manziel were married for a year before separating in March 2019.

Speaking to TMZ Sports about the end of his marriage, Manziel said at the time that their split was “all very personal and very sad.” Their split came after a source told PEOPLE the couple “hit a rough patch” when Tiesi believed he had cheated on her.

Manziel, who played for the Cleveland Browns, was fired by his agent and released from the team in 2015 because of his problems with sobriety. In Netflix's series, he spoke openly about his addiction and his previous suicide attempt. Untold Documentary series.

Both exes now have new partners. The former soccer star made his new girlfriend, model Josie Canseco, Instagram official in April, while Tiesi gave birth to a son, Legendary Love, with Nick Cannon in July 2022.
