Dave Bautista wants to move to DC with his Marvel co-stars Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana – News about comic book adaptations and superhero films

Being done with the MCU, Marvel's Drax actor Dave Bautista shares his hope of joining the DC Universe. He also hopes to see his Guardians of the Galaxy colleagues again in other projects outside the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Dave Bautista is open to joining James Gunn's DC universe

While promoting his next film, The Killer's Game, Bautista talked about joining his fellow MCU actors in James Gunn's DC universe.

When asked if he would play a DC character, he told ComicBook.com:

“Yes, of course. As I said, and I was very open to it. I think it just has to be the right role. But I'm very open to it, and I love James and would do anything to work with him.”

But before agreeing to join the DCU, he also mentioned his desire to work with other Guardians of the Galaxy actors. In 2013, he appeared as one of the antagonists in Vin Diesel's Riddick. He and Karen Gillan starred in Stuber in 2019. Now he's starring alongside Pom Klementieff in his latest action comedy.

About working with other Marvel actors, he said:

“I hope so, yes. That's kind of my goal. I really want it because I've done another project outside of Guardians with Karen Gillan and now I've worked with Pom.”

In addition, he is ready to enter the DC universe with the two main characters of the Guardians of the Galaxy.

Bautista wants Chris Pratt and Zoe Saldana from Guardians of the Galaxy to join him

In his interview with Comicbook.com, Bautista added:

“I would also like to work with Chris and Zoe outside of the Marvel universe.”

James Gunn recently confirmed that he and Chris Pratt are always talking about a DC role for Pratt. Zoe Saldana also expressed interest in joining James Gunn's DC universe earlier this year. Even Pom Klementieff is said to be in talks for a DC role. So it's likely that Dave Bautista's wish to see the Guardians of the Galaxy cast reunite in James Gunn's DC universe could come true.

Whether Bautista will join the others as Bane or another DC character remains to be seen. For now, fans could see him in The Killer's Game, which hits theaters on September 13, 2024.
