Wisconsin volleyball team takes first win of the season against TCU

The Wisconsin volleyball team needed five sets to end its weakest start since 1990.

And the Badgers had to pull themselves together.

Trailing 2-1 against TCU, sixth-seeded UW dominated the fourth set and never trailed in the fifth to earn a 25-15, 27-29, 21-25, 25-16 and 15-11 victory over the Horned Frogs in a Big Ten/Big 12 Challenge match at the Ferrell Center on Baylor's campus in Waco, Texas.

The win ended a losing streak of three games at the beginning of the season.

Senior Sarah Franklin had the most kills on her team with 18 kills and eight digs. Senior Devyn Robinson added 17 kills while hitting .381 and recorded five blocks, which was the most blocks on her team. Senior middle Caroline Crawford added 12 kills while hitting .400.
