How Tom Brady and Jordon Hudson greeted Bill Belichick on Instagram

Nobody has a better introduction to Instagram than Bill Belichick.

Just hours after his big debut on the platform on Wednesday, the eight-time Super Bowl winner received welcoming messages from his 23-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson and former quarterback Tom Brady, who poked fun at the social media move.

“So guys, the party's over, Bill's here,” Brady joked in an Instagram video shared Thursday. “It was a good run, but we had to end it. Welcome, Coach.”

Brady, now preparing for his first season as an NFL commentator, won six Super Bowls over the course of 20 seasons with the 72-year-old Belichick in New England.

The future Hall of Fame quarterback left the Patriots in 2020 and won his final Super Bowl in 2021 as a member of the Buccaneers.

Brady, 47, will officially retire from NFL football in 2023, the news was announced on social media.

And as for Hudson, whose relationship with Belichick was first revealed in June, she celebrated the legendary coach's decision to join Instagram with a joking post of her own.

“This is my formal petition to @BillBelichick to change his name to @BillyGoat!! 🐐,” Hudson wrote on Wednesday. “Welcome to the 'Gram, Billy!!!!”

Belichick liked the post by Hudson, a former college cheerleader, and re-shared it on his Instagram story.

“I'll leave the Billy Goating to @bill.t.goat at @usnavalacademy,” he wrote.

Belichick has been busy since leaving the Patriots in January after 24 seasons.

He appears weekly on “The Pat McAfee Show” and will be featured on “ManningCast” – ESPN’s alternative “Monday Night Football” program with Eli and Peyton Manning – among other media opportunities.

Belichick applied for the Falcons' head coaching vacancy during this NFL recruiting round and eventually got the job from Raheem Morris.
