Still, we think the Cavaliers will win this matchup on Saturday. Both teams had a pretty close matchup last week, with UVA beating Richmond 34-13 while Wake Forest beat North Carolina AT&T 45-13. UVA was able to cover its wide spread, but Wake was not.

UVA's biggest advantage in this game is its passing game against the Wake secondary. Wake Forest lost four of its five starters from last year, which UVA QB Anthony Colandrea should take advantage of.

He loves to get the ball out quickly and focus on high-impact throws, but last week the UVA offense was able to run for 30 yards seven times. That's something Virginia should keep going against Wake this week, as the Deacs allowed 35 times over 30 yards last year, which ranked 118th nationally.

On the other hand, it is likely that the Demon Deacons' offense will struggle in this matchup as well. Although they finished with 45 points last week, they still started slowly against an inferior opponent.

The Cavaliers should be able to force one or two turnovers, which would be enough to win.

Boise State +21 (-108) DraftKings

Boise State vs. Oregon, September 7, 10 p.m. ET

For our second play of the day, we are not predicting an outright win for the underdog, but rather that Boise State will cover the big difference of three touchdowns against Oregon.

Oregon has a ton of talent but struggled against Idaho last week, and the same could happen again this week in another situation where it is clearly favored. The Ducks ended up beating Idaho 24-14 but struggled on offense.

They averaged just 2.9 yards per attempt and finished the game with 107 yards on 37 attempts. That's something they'll have to get under control if they want to keep up with Boise State's superior offense.

The Broncos scored 56 points in their first game, albeit against much weaker competition from Georgia State. Oregon obviously has a much more talented defense, but Boise should still be able to score a lot of points on Saturday. After all, the total points for this game is 61, so the bookies are expecting points.

Boise rushed for 371 yards last week and they have arguably the best running back in the country in Ashton Jeanty. Yes, Oregon's defense is better than Georgia State's and will have the athleticism to contain Jeanty better than Georgia State, but it's safe to assume Oregon won't be able to completely stop Boise's offense.

Boise struggled on defense, allowing 45 points against Georgia State, so the total is high for a reason. The over is worth a look, but as for the matchup itself, we expect Boise State to keep it close.
