LEXINGTON – Kentucky football put a checkmark on the winning track at the start of the 2024 season by defeating Southern Miss 31-0 in a weather-shortened game at Kroger Field last week.

The Wildcats want to improve their record to 2-0 today – and to 1-0 in SEC play. UK's opponent South Carolina is also 1-0 this season. Today's game also serves as the conference opener for the Gamecocks.

It's a game both teams can't afford to lose: Kentucky closes out the month of September with games against Georgia and Ole Miss. USC also faces Ole Miss (Oct. 5) and returns to Columbia, South Carolina, to host LSU next week.
